The CBSE All India Pre-Medical (AIPMT) is a medical enterance exam held for admission to Medical / Dental Courses in all Medical / Dental colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal or other local authorities in India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination – AIPMT 2012

AIMPT 2012 is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Government of India,Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from time to time.

AIPMT 2012 Eligibility Criteria:-

    * Candidate should be completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an Indian National..
    * The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination.
    * Candidate should have passed 12th or be appearing in 2012 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

AIPMT 2012 Exam Dates/ Notification:-

AIPMT Preliminary Examination:- 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)

AIPMT Final Exam Date: - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)

AIPMT Application Forms are available in designated branches of Canara Bank/ Regional offices of CBSE.

AIPMT 2012 Paper Pattern:-

Preliminary Examination Paper Pattern:-

The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology(Botany and Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
The duration of the paper would be 3 hours.

Final Examination Paper Pattern:-

The finally Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions(four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology(Botany and Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
The duration of the paper would be 3 hours.

Language of the Question Papers:- Candidate can opt for question papers either in English or in Hindi. This option should be exercised while filling in the Application Form. It can not be changed later.

Sir i have applied for aipmt online and have done paymet through card but i have posted it in an ordinary envelope, not in A5 size envelope and i have written addresss with blue pen on the envelope and posted on 14-01-2012. And on 6th feb i checked for the status of receipt of conformation page, it say it is not recieved. What should i do? Please let of know!
