About the College

IIT Bombay, set up by an Act of Parliament, was established in 1958, at Powai, a northern suburb of Mumbai. Today the Institute is recognised as one of the centres of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been dynamic progress at IIT Bombay in all academic and research activities, and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure, to keep it on par with the best institutions in the world. IIT Mumbai is a small township in itself. Consciously developed, the campus has retained and increased its green cover, rich in natural flora and fauna. However, most facilities are available on campus itself, including a bank, a shopping centre, two excellent schools for children, and a well equipped hospital. Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Q : sir, after my 12th class i couldn't continue my study due to family problem.. now i m in my b.tech final year.. wot effect will it have in my placement and in further studies??

Ans : No problemn at all u can continue ua wrk as well as job by choosing evening college for M.tech & u attend the interviews after completing ur B.tech.....
