MHT CET - The Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Examination (MHT-CET) is the single exam for admissions to health sciences, Engineering and pharmacy courses. Even the admission for veterinary sciences course (BVSc and AH) are conducted through same examination.

MHT CET Important Dates / Notification:-

    * Availability of CET Forms: 2nd-4th week of March, 2011
    * Last Date for submission of CET forms: 4th week of March, 2011
    * Date of CET:- Thursday, 10th May 2012.
    * Declaration of Results: Mid June, 2011

MHT CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria:-

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCM. There is 5% relaxation for Maharashtra backward classes. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in 2011 can also apply.

MHT CET 2012 Paper Pattern:-

MHT-Engg-CET entrance will consist of two papers of 1 and a half hours each:

1. Physics & Chemistry (50+50 marks)

2. Mathematics (100 marks)

All the questions will be objective type with 4 options each. There will be no negative marking so the candidates are advised to attempt all the questions.

MHT CET Syllabus 2012 :- Syllabus of the exam will be same as HSC Examination of Board of Maharashtra.

IN FEB 2010,I HAD PASSED HSC WITH AGG.51.17% N IN PCM I GOT 41.33% N PCB-44.33%.....N I BELONG TO VJ/NT (OBC) CASTE...SO MY ELL.WAS 45%...SO I MISSED ENGG.ELLIGIBILITY BUT I SCORED-+8 IN AIEEE,N 85 IN MHTCET 2010... THEN IN 2011 NEW RULE WAS INTRODUCED BY GOVT.THAT ELLIGIBILITY CRITERIA HAS BEEN RELAXED BY 5%.SO NOW I'M ELLIGIBLE AS PER THE RULES OF DTE,MUMBAI...I WENT PERSONALLY N ENQUIRED ABOUT THE SAME.... N NW I'M TRYING MY LEVEL BEST FOR MHTCET N AIEEE....GOOD SCORE. BUT STILL ITS SHOWING IN ABOVE CRITERIA THAT ELLIGIBILITY IS 45% THEN TO ITS SHIFFTED TO 40% FOR BACKWARD CASTES OF MAHARASHTRA....PLZ HELP ME...N LET ME KNW WHETER ITS 40% OR 45%....
