Mumbai, September 18: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in a press release, has announced the date for AIPMT exam 2015. The All India Pre-Medical Test for 2015-16 academic session will be held on May 03, 2015 (Sunday) in selected cities across India and abroad. All India Pre- Medical/Pre-Dental Examination is conducted for 15 percent of All India Quota Seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges all over India, the only exceptions being the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Students not less than 17 years of age and who have appeared or will be appearing for their class 12 examination in science stream with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply for AIPMT 2015.
AIPMT exam 2015 would be a paper-pen based OMR test which would include a total of 180 objective type questions (four options with one correct answer) from subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/Zoology). The duration of the exam would be of three hours. Students can opt for their question paper in either English or Hindi. Students would have to mark their answers in specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
The complete AIPMT 2015 notification is excepted to be published soon. Meanwhile, the CBSE statement also confirms that the eligibility conditions, syllabus and paper pattern will be similar to AIPMT 2014 as notified by the Medical Council of India which is available on www.aipmt.nic.in.
