Dibrugarh University encourages admission applications from interested and eligible Ph.D and M.Phil aspirants for Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2014 for the academic session 2014-15. Completed application form along with copies of relevant documents and university copy of bank challan is to be submitted to the respective teaching department/ Centre of Studies of the subject concerned before 24/10/2014 (Friday). The other important details is as follows.
Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2014 Eligibility:-
Master Degree holders of recognised Universities securing 50% marks or equivalent grade point shall be eligible to appear in the DURAT, 2014 in the following subjects:
•Ph.D:- Applied Geology, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Life-Sciences, Management, Mathematics, Petroleum Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics, Sociology, Statistics, Philosophy.
•M.Phil: Assamese, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, History, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Statistics and Sociology.
Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2014 Application Procedure:-
1. Application form along with prescribed copy of bank challan is available on www.dibru.ac.in. for download.
2. Candidates are required to deposit Rs.500.00/ -(Rupees Five Hundred) + Rs.30/-(Rupees Thirty) only as Examination Fee+ Bank Charge at the Account of the State Bank of India mentioned in the prescribed Bank Challan, which can be tendered through any Branch of the State Bank of India
3. Prescribed copies of the Bank Challan are available in the Dibrugarh University website www.dibru.ac.in
4.The filled in Application Form with all requisite testimonials and the University Copy of the Bank Challan is to be submitted at the Teaching Department/ Centre of Studies of the subject concerned by 24.10.2014
Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT) 2014 Important dates:-
Date of availability of Application Forms: from September 30, 2014 (Tuesday).
Receiving of filled-in Application Forms: from October 08, 2014 (Wednesday).
Last date of availability and submission of Application Forms:- October 24, 2014 (Friday).
Date of examination: November 15, 2014 (11.00 Hours to 14.00 Hours) (Saturday).
Declaration of result by December 03, 2014 (Wednesday).
Examination Centre:-
The concerned Teaching Department/ Centre of Studies, Dibrugarh University.
DURAT 2014 Paper Pattern:-
•The DURAT shall be conducted in a single paper based on the subject concerned.
•The paper shall carry 100 marks and the duration of examination shall be of three hours.
•The minimum mark for clearing the DURAT is 45.
