Skills & Education Required for Career as a Hotel Manager
There are several courses in Hotel Management like Diploma in Hotel Management (DHM), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management (PGDHM). The minimum qualification required for a diploma and bachelor course in hotel management is 10+2 pass with English as a subject. A DHM/BHM course is of one and half to three year duration. Admission depends on the performance of the students in the written admission test, personal interview round and group discussion session. Besides these there are certificate courses in Hotel Management which are of six months to one year duration. Those with graduation can go for post graduate diploma courses the duration of which is one year.
