About Career as a Third Officer

The Third Officer is the ship's documentation and safety officer. He is responsible for all the crew members before leaving the post, the stores and supplies. The other orders given by the Captain and duties of the 2nd officer in case he is on leave.

Career Prospects of Career as a Third Officer

With the global trade increasing the demand for seamen is also increasing. The average salary varies between $2000 to $4000 per month

Skills & Education Required for Career as a Third Officer

Mimimum qualification required is 10+ 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
