The course has been designed to equip students with necessary hardware and software skills.The program strongly focuses on theoretical as well Practical aspects of System Design for hardcore industrial applications and also providing ample scope for students to pursue research in different domains of Robotics and Future Intelligent Systems.

Duration:- 2 years, Full Time

Eligibility:- B.Sc, M.Sc in any discipline of Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering and Technology or equivalent.

About the College

 The The International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) formerly known as HOPE Foundation  is a Public Trust Act founded under the Public Trust Act 1950 in 1979 by Mr. Pralhad P. Chhabria, a well-known industrialist and philanthropist and Chairman of the Finolex Group of Companies and Mr. Kishan P. Chhabria, Managing Director, Finolex Industries Ltd. 

The Education Division of the Foundation was established in 1996 with the setting up of the Finolex Academy of Management & Technology (FAMT) at Ratnagiri, the first engineering college in this relatively underdeveloped area. Spread over 35 acres of land in the M.I.D.C. area at Mirjole, Ratnagiri, the academy is affiliated to the Mumbai University and has obtained the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Coastal Ratnagiri offers a verdant and peaceful environment, highly conducive to education. The academy’s facilities, in addition to its enormous campus, includes spacious lecture halls, laboratories housing the latest training equipment, a well-stocked library, a computer center and facilities for sports and extra-curricular activities. A highly qualified and motivated faculty ensures all support to the student community.

The academy offers degree level education in electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering. Computer science and information technology branches are being currently added.

If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

The premier institute in Robotics is The Center for Robotics and Mechatronics at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Kanpur which offers a Master's Degree Course in Robotics.
