About the College

College of Engineering And Management, Kolaghat was established in the year of 1998 and is one of the pioneer institute in West bengal. It was conceived and planned by Prof. Shankar Sen, an eminent educationist and former vice chancellor, Jadavpur University in the year 1998. It is is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). The courses offered by it are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute is also assisted by World Bank under TEQIP-II Programme. Ever since its inception under the aegis of the AICTE the college has already made its presence felt in the technical horizon of the State.

Ans : Oh cool! Their admissions are still on?? I have heard their B. Tech program in cloud computing and virtualization technology is really good and they have a tie up with IBM. Anyway, not many colleges in India offer this course.
