About B.Sc (Interior Design) Course

Here are the details of B.Sc (Interior Design) Course including duration, Eligibility, Admission Criteria, Fees and Syllabus.

B.Sc (Interior Design)
Duration:  3 years
Student after successful completion of 3 years at LPU, will have two choices:-
(a) To move out with B.Sc (Interior Design) Degree.
(b) To continue for the next 1 yr. to do B.Design (Interior Design) Degree.

Eligibility Criteria:- For Indian Applicants
(Qualifying Exam)    

Pass in 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks or equivalent or relevant higher qualification (with pass in English)
 
For International candidates (NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals residing outside India)
Apart from the fulfillment of entry and study requirements in India, International applicants will have to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria in respect to the qualifying examination, as stipulated for the respective programmes i.e.
The applicant must have completed 12 years of formal education at the School level or equivalent or relevant higher qualification with minimum aggregate marks or equivalent grades, as prescribed above for the respective programme.(In certain countries ‘O’ level is accepted in case of 10 th (Matric) and ‘A’ level is accepted in case of 10+2(12 th ))

• For B.Design (Interior Design) Degree, there may be one year project after the completion of B.Sc (Interior Design)
• Unique exposure to the students with in-house design projects
• Application oriented teaching with live design projects, extensive model and field work
• Optional study tours, site visits and industrial visits for visual orientation (Subject to conditions and approval by the University)
• Manual as well as Computerized planning and designing skills with AutoCAD-2D and 3D, 3DS Max Studio, Archicad, Revit, Photoshop, Coral Draw, Flash Animations.
