Duration
:- 3 years or 6 semesters residential course.
 
Entry Requirements for the Course :-
 
Age Limit:-  Not more than 25 years at the time of commencement of the course

Qualifications:-  A pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry group and at least 50% marks in English.
 
Medical  Standard:-  Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6 in better eye, 6/9 in other eye and with no colour blindness.
