About the College

Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow was established in 1984. constituted the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Lucknow University. Now IET is a Constituent College of GBTU. It offers B.Tech degree in seven branches, namely Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Civil , Mechanical, Chemical , Information Technology and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

Ans : Oh cool! Their admissions are still on?? I have heard their B. Tech program in cloud computing and virtualization technology is really good and they have a tie up with IBM. Anyway, not many colleges in India offer this course.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Q : i m in 8th sem engineering...and i want to do some course after graduation...related to computer plllzzz telll me abt the courses related to the computer branch...i'll b thankful to u...!!!!!

Q : can one do aeronautical engineering after taking commerce??

Ans : No chance Bcoz aeronautical engg course will admits only the students hav done PCM in science stream that too with minimum of 50% in PCM.....
