About the College

"KNOWLEDGE TO POWER" was the driving force and there was the emergence of human consciousness at the dawn of the new millennium and to further this objective the S.U.S. Polytechnic College was established under the aegis of the Desh Bhagat Memorial Educational Trust to commemorate the memory of a Great Patriot Shaheed Udham Singh The college is approved by AICTE and Govt. of Punjab and is affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training , Chandigarh. The college was established in the year 2004 and has been conducting 3-year Diploma courses at its site at Tangori since 2004-2005 session. Since its establishment, it has been an endeavour to make SUSCET an apex technical institute engaged in imparting value based quality education and produce competent Human Resource. SUS polytechnic is a self-supported and self-financed Institute promoted by Desh Bhagat Memorial Education Trust (Regd.) and Led by Sh. Sukhwinder Singh, (Chairman), Dr. J.S. Dhaliwal (Vice-Chairman) and Shri Gurlabh Singh (General Secretary) who are the prominent persons and dedicated educationists par excellence with a high sense of professionalism and competence. The main objective of the Trust was to develop a nucleus campus that could impact quality education in various disciplines at Diploma level and mould the inherent talent of the youth into skills required in the dynamic and highly competitive world of technology. The college is Headed by Prof. S.K. Girdhar, Ex Director, Technical  Education, U.T. Chandigarh and having an experience of more than 40 years in the field of Technical Education

If you are interested in working in an office environment in management level then you should go for MBA. I would suggest you first work for 1-2 years after b.tech and see what really interests you and then jump for post graduation.
