Admission Criteria:Candidate should have a degree B.E./B. Tech in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication/Industrial Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control/Computer Engineering from any recognised university. Students are admitted on the basis of GATE score or marks obtained at B.E level and for non GATE candidates entrance test will be taken at college level.
 


About the College

Cummins College of Engineering for Women was established in 1991 and it is affiliated to University of Pune. The college is approved by All India council for Technical Educaion (AICTE). It is a prominent institution in the state of Maharashtra which has been established by Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha (MKSSS). Cummins Deisel India Foundation formally known as Cummins India Ltd. has monitarily supported for the building construction of the college at its early stage. Hence the college is named as Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha's Cummins College of Engineering for Women. The College has a separate Training and Placement Cell. A Placement Committee consisting of one faculty representing each department decides the guidelines for the placement activity. The college have a full fledged training and placement cell headed by senior staff members as placement and training officer assisted by placement co-ordinators which gives training to all the students on Comprehension, Soft skills in communication, Fluency in English speaking, Career planning, Aptitude test, Group discussion and also conduct mock interviews for final year students to become employable in campus interview. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Cummins College of Engineering for Women in its various departments. The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Library, Canteen, Conference Hall, Workshop, Sports, Hostel accomodation.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Ans : Maulik, u can do engineering in any stream but the scores should be a minimum of 60%. But preferred streams would be electronics or computer science to pursue your ME or M.Tech in Nano technology.
