Admission Criteria:- Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination, with minimum 50% marks. Admissions to the undergraduate course is competitive and done through the MHCET and AIEEE scores.

About the College

K.J. Somaiya college of engineering was established in the year 1993 and is affiliated to Mumbai University and is approved by AICTE. It is the First Engineering College in Maharashtra to Get Accrediation by the National Board of Accrediation (New Delhi) in 1997.

The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Hostel accommodation. This college has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty.

KJSCE offers Bachelor of Engineering course in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology.

The College has Corporate Relations & Placement Cell dedicated for strengthening the interaction between Institute and Industry. The cell is coordinated by a senior faculty, who will be supported by one faculty member from each of the department. The students also actively participate in the activities as volunteers.

Ans : Oh cool! Their admissions are still on?? I have heard their B. Tech program in cloud computing and virtualization technology is really good and they have a tie up with IBM. Anyway, not many colleges in India offer this course.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.
