About the College
GBTU - Gautam Buddh Technical University formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8th May 2000.
GBTU is affiliating more than 240 Government and Private colleges Institutions located all over U.P. imparting B.Tech., M.B.A., M.C.A., B.Arch., B. Pharma., B.H.M.C.T., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes
At present around 150,000 students are enrolled in GPTU's various programmes. More than 50,000 students are admitted every year. Medium of instructions and examinations is English.
Gautam Buddh Technical University conducting the State level Entrance Examination UPSEE for admission to various programs affiliated to GBTU.
GBTU is currently located in I.E.T. Campus at Sitapur Road in the Capital of U.P. at Lucknow but is in the process of having its own Headquarter building in its vicinity.

It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

It clearly depends upon your interest and what you want to do in life, how good you are in your engineering and whether you want to pursue your career in engineering field only. If you are interested in working in an office environment in management level then you should go for MBA. I would suggest you first work for 1-2 years after b.tech and see what really interests you and then jump for post graduation.
