Admission Procedure:- Admissions are based on the Common entrance Test EAMCET. Both Minority and non-minority communities are eligible. 70% seats are for Convener (A category) & 30% are Management seats (B category).


About the College

Arkay College of Engineering and Technology was establisahed in 1999 and it is one of the leading college in hyderabad. The college offers B.Tech Degree in branches EEE, ECE, CSE, IT and Civil with  intake of 60, 90, 45, 60 and 60 respectively. Total : 315 Seats.

 

The college campus maintains 27 acres of land with permanent RCC building of more than 12,000 sq.mts. of built-up area. The building boasts of separate laboratories for all departments and spacious class rooms with glass boards and steel furniture. The college also encourages students into extra curricular activities with well maintained Sports rooms, A Volleyball court, A Basket ball court and other play grounds.

 

The college present strength  is 800, with 57 teaching staff and 12 non-teaching staff. Most of the technical staff are highly qualified and experienced with an excellent academic record and were recruited through college selection committee. The college along with the academic pays into the alround development of the students by encouraging them to participate sports and games like Cricket, Chess and etc.

Ans : Maulik, u can do engineering in any stream but the scores should be a minimum of 60%. But preferred streams would be electronics or computer science to pursue your ME or M.Tech in Nano technology.

Ans : Oh cool! Their admissions are still on?? I have heard their B. Tech program in cloud computing and virtualization technology is really good and they have a tie up with IBM. Anyway, not many colleges in India offer this course.

The premier institute in Robotics is The Center for Robotics and Mechatronics at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Kanpur which offers a Master's Degree Course in Robotics. Other Institutes in India offering courses in Robotics: National Institute of Technology, the University of Hyderabad- M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthinilayam, Tamil Nadu- M.Tech, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) Mechanical (Robotics as an elective subject).
