About the College

GVP College of Engineering for Women was established in 2008. It is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

This is a self-financed Institution equipped with well furnished laboratories, well qualified faculty and infrastructure. College provides the hostel facility within the college campus with total accommodation for about 220 girl students

Training and Placement cell of the college preparing the students to enter the industry with confidence. For this the college gives additional inputs in Communication skills, Presentation skills, Mock interviews, Group discussions and Team work.

Ans : To answer your question "is chemical engineering very tough and boring?" it all depends on your interests. If you have an interest towards the subject you will find it interesting and easy. Nothing is tough and boring if you have dedication and interest in the subject.

Ans : Maulik, u can do engineering in any stream but the scores should be a minimum of 60%. But preferred streams would be electronics or computer science to pursue your ME or M.Tech in Nano technology.

Q : I am pursuing B.E. (I.T./8th sem). I am confused regarding my future prospects. what i can opt for after my graduation. pls help

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Q : can one do aeronautical engineering after taking commerce??

Ans : No chance Bcoz aeronautical engg course will admits only the students hav done PCM in science stream that too with minimum of 50% in PCM.....
