About Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) Course

Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) prepare Students to become professional media people who will completely uphold democratic freedom and societal responsibilities.
This is a full time course i.e. duration of six semesters spread over three years , every semester consisting of six theory papers and six projects.
The first four semesters are common, whilst semester V offers an option between advertising and journalism ,accordingly leading to a bifurcation of students.
Each paper consist of four lectures per week per semester.
DETAILS OF ADMISSION:
Number of seats- 60(per class)
ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum 50% marks in the 12th standard examinations (arts/commerce/science or any other equivalent examination). for SC/ST 45%marks in the 12th standard (subject to submission of caste certificates.)
SELECTION BASIS:
Each candidate will have to pass a 100 marks general aptitude written test, which will include questions of general knowledge, creative thinking, and language ability and so on. Thereafter, they will be interviewed by the concerned department.
