Devender Singh Institute of Technology and Management is one of the prominent institute in Uttar Pradesh. The institute works under the guidance and sponsorship of Devender Singh Educational Trust and it was came into existence in 2009. It offers quality teacher education to enlighten, emancipate and empower the student-teacher fraternity to foster lifelong learning. The institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow (UPTU) and it is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  A major goal of DSITM is to impart a uniquely broad and interdisciplinary technical education of the highest academic quality. This is achieved through an integrated curriculum that consists of a highly diverse set of technical courses, interdisciplinary technical research projects, day-to-day interaction with industry, and preparation in entrepreneurship and personality development courses.

Physical environment of the campus has been improved and enriched by the development programme over recent years. The campus is well equipped with laboratories, libraries, cafeteria, mess, stationery shop, hostels, staff quarters, guest houses, sports kits, grounds and infirmary. Round the clock electricity and water supply promotes living comfort. Teaching and learning process is implemented by the dedicated faculty through rigorous planning and keeping in view the industry needs. Students undergo classroom lectures, tutorials, case studies, assignments, seminars, workshops, multimedia presentations, and lectures from guest speakers from the industry and academy.

The training & placement division has the acronym CACHE which expands to Centre for Advancement of Career and Human Excellence. The training imparted to students from their freshman year till they are placed in a suitable job is aimed at shaping the individuals into not just employable products but in to assets to their employers.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Q : I have completed my B.tech in ECE branch so I want to do post graduation which is suitable for my career to do MBA or M.TECH

Ans : Dear M.Bajikushma, It clearly depends upon your interest and what you want to do in life, how good you are in your engineering and whether you want to pursue your career in engineering field only. If you are interested in working in an office environment in management level then you should go for MBA. I would suggest you first work for 1-2 years after b.tech and see what really interests you and then jump for post graduation.
