About the College

Earlier name of the College was College of Engineering and Polytechnic, Satara. The name was changed to Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Engineering and Polytechnic Satara in 1989. Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil is founder of Rayat Shikshan Shanstha hence it was emotional moment in history of college. College was running in small campus of other sister colleges. In 1990 college was shifted to present campus which is in the heart of the city. The colleges offers offers B E course in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Engineering & Diploma Courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Ans : To answer your question "is chemical engineering very tough and boring?" it all depends on your interests. If you have an interest towards the subject you will find it interesting and easy. Nothing is tough and boring if you have dedication and interest in the subject.

  • i passed ssc in 1996, after that i joined private 1.5 year diploma in architecture course and after completion of course i worked in many construction and engineering consultant companies in india and abroad from this i have practical knowledge of civil but due to certificate. so please suggest me the best way.
