About the College
V. E. S. Polytechnic was established in the year 1983 by Vivekanand Education Society with an aim to impart technical education and developing technical skills to 10+ students. Vivekanand Education Society has founded total 27 Educational, Technical and Management Institutes, catering to the needs of the students from K.G. to Post graduation level.
The Institute started with two disciplines initially which has increased to 5 , viz Computer Technology, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication and Electronics & Video Engineering. In last 20 years, it has constantly been showing excellence in the academic activities which is evident from the outstanding result in MSBTE and long list of Rank Holders.
The Institute also explores student’s talents in Music, Dramatics and Sports and provides opportunities and guidance to enhance the same.
Further we regularly upgrade the quality of technical education keeping pace with the need of the industry and also emphasis has been given in up gradation of Laboratory facilities, adopting modern teaching techniques and improving teaching standard and methodologies. The main purpose to prepare a student to enter the industry with in-depth technical knowledge and skills to handle all the tasks as first line managers.
