Eligibility for the Course : -

Age Limit:-  Not more than 28 years at the time of commencement of the course.
 
Qualifications:-  Graduate in B.E. (Mechanical) Engineering / Naval Architecture with minimum marks of 50% in final year and should have obtained 50% marks in English at 10th or 12th Standard or in the Degree / Diploma
course conducted by the Board or any University
 
Medical Standard:-  Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight up to 6/12 in both eyes or 6/9 in better eye, 6/18 in other eye and with no colour blindness

  • guys every year the admission forms are available from february to may!!.. You buy the app forms from the office at anna nagar or from the college at kanathur.. Once you apply you'll have to write an entrance exam at the end of june. The questions will be basical and from all the subjects you have studied in b.e mech. Then you'll have a personal interview! Then the results ll be posted that evening whoever is selected. Only those candidates ll then be sent for medical fitness exam on the next day!! The course commences by october every year.
