Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open University, is located in the city of Hyderabad. It was established in the year 1982. It has a wide network of over 200 study centers spread throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh. It also facilitates separate building for the library which consists of more than 100000 books and non books material in different languages. It has also subscribed 18 newspaper and 173 journals for the latest updates of the students. It also provides a computer center with highly advanced computers and high speed internet facility. It is one of the best institutes in the southern part of the country. It provides all the required facilities for the comfort of the students.
