About the College

Vels University is one of its kind in the city of Chennai.The institute was established in the year 1992. The University status was conferred to Vel's Group of Institutions, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

The Chancellor is the Chairman of the Board and the board meets periodically to frame policies and programmes for the growth and improvement of VISTAS.
