About the College

The Central Government Under Section 10A (4) of the Dentists Act, 1948, granted permission to start BDS course with 40 admission from the academic session 1995 -96 in respect of Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad. Initially the course started with 40 students. The Central Government granted permission for increase of student capacity from 40 to 100 from 2004-05 batch onwards.

The students are given a complete understanding for the biological and physical process of oral health care. They learn the skills associated with theprevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to oral cavity.

The students learn to serve the society by improving the dental and oral health of its citizens. The associated dental Hospital provides specially dental care in pediatrics and oral surgery
