About the College

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Surathkal is one of the best engineering colleges in India. The college was established in 1960 as a joint venture between Government of India and Government of Karnataka. The college was earlier known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College. In 2002, the college was accorded the status of Deemed University and was renamed as National Institute of Technology Surathkal.

Ans : Yes, You can very well be a student of B.Tech Computer Science

Ans : Dear M.Bajikushma, It clearly depends upon your interest and what you want to do in life, how good you are in your engineering and whether you want to pursue your career in engineering field only. If you are interested in working in an office environment in management level then you should go for MBA. I would suggest you first work for 1-2 years after b.tech and see what really interests you and then jump for post graduation.

Q : can one do aeronautical engineering after taking commerce??

Ans : No chance Bcoz aeronautical engg course will admits only the students hav done PCM in science stream that too with minimum of 50% in PCM.....

Q : I want to study an Engineering course(B.E or B.Tech Electrical & Electronics) as a Part Time on Anna university in Tamil nadu. Please I request you to provide me an admission & course details. Thanks.

Ans : Oh cool! Their admissions are still on?? I have heard their B. Tech program in cloud computing and virtualization technology is really good and they have a tie up with IBM. Anyway, not many colleges in India offer this course.
