M. Tech in Ocean Technology and Management is a full-time four semester program sponsored by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Ministry of Earth Sciences, to meet the needs of trained manpower in various ocean technology related projects in India.

Eligibility:-

Candidates should have first class or 60% (55% in case of SC/ST) in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology OR Master's degree in Oceanography. Marine Sciences, Ocean Science and Technology, Applied Mathematics, Applied Geology, Geophysics, and Physics OR any other equivalent degree approved by the Advisory Committee with minimum 2 years experience in NIOT or in an organization approved by NIOT. Fresh candidates with GATE score may also apply for a few seats approved by NIOT.

About the College

The historical cues of IIT Madras show that how excited the Government of India was in setting the engineering institute in India. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is the first Indo-German venture, which came into reality in the year 1956. Post Independence, there was a need of a good technical institute that can cater the demand of engineering education in India. Keeping this thing in mind, the German Government offered all technical aids to set up the IIT Madras. It stands third in the series of IITs. 

Though the City’s name has been rechristened to ‘Chennai’, but still the institute is commonly referred with its old name. If you’re in any doubt regarding the institute’s surrounding, then this is a bet that you will fall in love with its environment. The Campus seems as mini India, as there are students from different parts corners of the country.

Ans : It all depends upon ur interest. If u r interested in pursuing higher education after your Btech the options are M Tech , MCA, if u r good in programming and want to work in IT sector else do a MBA if u want to pursue a career in Management.. I would advise u to work after ur BE for atleast 2 -3 yrs. and then do a full time or part time MBA.

Ans : take science stream n then take pcm,then do b.arch for 5 yrs...u can give aieee xam after 12th....u can have good scope after sciene....best of luck....
