Course Content:-

Module 1:- Introduction to basic Drawing, Design and Rendering techniques. This will enable the student to understand their capabilities with regard to hand and eye coordination. This module will teach the students the principles of Design, along with the basic techniques of jewellery making. Students will also be doing a series of creative exercises.
Module 2:- Introduction to Stone Rendering and an overview of diamonds and gems . Understanding textures and learning how to incorporate them practically in a design, and learning to work with precision and accuracy. Students are taught stone settings in designs and basic setting in manufacturing.
Module 3:- Learning orthographic projections, perspective, isometric and other 3D techniques of sketching along with estimation, manufacturing techniques like embossing, casting and wire work are also taught. Students will also be trained on how to deal with clients through situation / design assignments.
Module 4:- Learning the various nuances of fashion jewellery, visual merchandizing and brand research of international markets. Usage of alternate materials and advance techniques like Enamelling, Terracotta and Etching. Students will also be introduced to Digital Goldsmith and the primary level of matrix software.
