About the College

National Institute of Engineering Mysore is located in cool and pollution free environment in Mysore, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NIE-Mysore was established in the year 1946 with a view to impart quality education in the field of engineering. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state.
