Duration:-
(i) Part Time: Minimum Three Years and Maximum Five Years.
(ii) Full Time: Minimum Two Years and Maximum Five Years.
Admission Criteria:-
Eligibility
(A) An applicant seeking admission to the Ph.D. Degree Programme must have:
(i) A Degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) from any recognized University in India or any degree recognized as equivalent with a minimum 55% marks or M.Phil Degree in Law with B+ grade or equivalent.
(ii) Candidate should qualify the GNLU admission test. The results of the admission test shall be restricted only for that academic year.
(B) Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/SLET are exempted from GNLU admission test and they are eligible for direct admission.
(C) Candidates who have 3 years fulltime or 5 years part time experience in teaching are exempted from GNLU admission test and they are eligible for direct admission.
(D) Candidates who do not have the required 55 % of marks at the post graduate level shall complete GLC (GNLU Law Course) offered by the GNLU. The number of GLC will depend upon candidate’s qualification, experience, including teaching and research. Separate fee will apply for the GLC course.
