About Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) Course

Here are the details of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) Course including duration, Eligibility, Admission Criteria, Fees and Syllabus.

Eligibility & Admission:-

i) A pass in recognised Bachelor's Degree in any discipline of minimum 3 years duration

ii) Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying degree course and candidates who are appearing for the final semester / year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April / May

iii) Candidates who have already appeared for and are having one or more valid CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT Scores, need not Register for VTUCEE(Application fee Rs.600/-) Those not having valid CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT Scores, MUST Register for VTUCE .(Application fee Rs.900/-)

iv) Candidates short listed will be requested to take up a GD and Personal Interview.

About the College

VEL TECH group of educational institutions was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service, Dr.R.Rangarajan and Dr.R. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing industries and international trade. What took off as a modest school now stands as a monument of glory for “Chennai city”. Dr.R.Rangarajan is currently the Syndicate Member of University of Madras and Anna University. The long, dedicated, tireless and passionate journey continues to the cause of nation building.

Set up in sprawling campus VELTECH Engineering College was established with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, for providing high quality technical education. Since then, it has been offering programmes leading to the award of B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA degrees of Anna University, Chennai. The high quality of technical education at VEL TECH earned accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi for all the degree programmes. Now VEL TECH has been duly declared as DEEMED to be UNIVERSITY u/s 3 of the UGC Act1956 by the UGC and notified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.

VEL TECH Dr. R R & Dr. SR TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY Chennai , shortly , VEL TECH , has established more than 25 courses in engineering under six Faculties of Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Technology , Information and Computing, and Management supported by more than 50 well equipped laboratories, Computer facilities with 24*7 internet connectivity, aided by dynamic web support system accessible to every student and parent. At VEL TECH, more than 300 highly qualified and experienced teachers take direct charge of students guiding them through out their programmes, arrange for industrial visits and projects and help select appropriate elective subjects. Q : i have passed my BE in info science in 2004 from VTU. i was doing business. right now i want to study. which course suites me. i was into corporate catering business.
