B.A.LL.B (Hons.) B.A.LL.B (Hons.)

We follow interdisciplinary teaching of law. Case method, clinical legal education, moot court competition,
client counseling skills, language and computer skills form an integral part of learning at the B. A. LL. B.
(Hons.) level. We also offer seminar courses in various emerging areas to cultivate the research and presentation
skills in the students. We are in the process of reform of legal education. Efforts are being made to make the
curriculum more suitable to the needs, challenges and opportunities of legal education in twenty first century.

 Eligibility for Admission:-

(a) No candidate shall be eligible for admission unless he/she has passed the class-12th examination in the
10+2 scheme or its equivalent in Science, Arts, Commerce or any other discipline and has secured in
the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks in the grand total of all papers except additional
papers, in the said examination. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC,ST or OBC
category, the minimum percentage of marks for eligibility shall be 45% of the total marks in the grand
total of all papers except additional papers at the class – 12th examination, and
(b) The candidates seeking admission must not have attained 20 years of age as on July 1, 2009.
Relaxation of Two years is permitted for candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories.


The University offers LL.M. Courses in the following three streams:
1. LL.M. in the area of: (a) Business Law (b) Environmental Law (c) Constitution & Administrative
Law (d) Criminal Law. The courses in the above mentioned specializations will be offered
according to the availability of the faculty and the number of seats in each of the above areas will
be determined by the University at the time of admission.
2. LL.M. in Human Rights
3. LL.M. in Law, Science & Technology

Eligibility for Admission:-

The candidate should have secured an LL.B. degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, having
obtained not less than 55% marks in the aggregate (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC).
