Advanced Diploma In Manufacturing Management (ADMM)

Duration:-one year full time
The ADMM Programme at SIOM will meet the techno-Managerial competency needs of the Manufacturing sector. The Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing Management is being offered as a full time non-residential 12 months (one year) course as a fast track module to qualify the graduate engineers to be potential manufacturing managers. It will be a great opportunity for graduate engineers with or without experience who miss opportunity to pursue MBA to advance their career in manufacturing sector. The programme will provide knowledge and understanding of the tools, techniques and methodologies to improve manufacturing management performance within the over all perspective of the business and understanding of the modern initiatives to leverage manufacturing management performance for global competitive advantage.
Eligibilty
Any Graduate in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university with 50% marks (aggregate). Graduates from part time, distance learning and correspondence courses are not eligible. Final year students can apply subject to their fulfilling the eligibility latest by 30th September 2009.
Candidate should have appeared for SNAP test for 2009 admissions.

MBA (Operations Management)
|
Eligibility Criteria
Engineering Graduates from recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks(all years put together) or equivalent grades. For SC/ST candidates minimum marks are 45%. Graduates from part time, distance learning and correspondence courses are not eligible. Final year students can apply subject to their fulfilling the eligibility latest by 30th September 2009
Note: It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they posses the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by SIU.
Selection Procedure
SNAP Written test - Interested candidates must appear for the Symbiosis national Aptitude test SNAP test registration and SIOM prospectus is a must.
Group Discussions and Personal Interviews- Candidates from the first stage will be shortlisted on various parameters like SNAP score, work exp. , academic performance, etc. to appear for Group Discussions and later if short listed for Personal Interviews as per the schedule at Nashik.
Those short listed from Stage 2 will be issued Admission Offer letters as per the Merit List.

Post Graduate Diploma In Business Management Programme (PGDBM)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) Programme at SIOM is an opportunity for the working executives to advance their careers with broad based knowledge and multi-disciplinary skills to design, manage, analyze, and improve the management systems in various sectors of industry and businesses. Students are provided with in-depth strategic understanding of the core system, their components, contributions, and interrelationships with other functional areas and the analytical and computer tools necessary to manage both strategic and tactical issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Any Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university OR any three year diploma (Post HSC) awarded by Board of Technical Education of any state government / central government with minimum 1 year post diploma experience. Graduates from part time, distance learning and correspondence courses are not eligible. All candidates must be working part-time or full time

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:
The following documents are required to be produced at the time of application:
1. Certificate of passing the qualifying examination and mark list of all semesters/years or certificate from the college/ institution of having appeared in the qualifying examination whose result has not been declared till the date of application/admission.
2. Work experience certificate and the certificate from the employer stating the current employment.
3. Gap certificate if there is gap of one or more year between passing of qualifying examination and admission.
4. Certificate for change of name if applicable.
5. Character certificate or transfer certificate.
