About Sambalpur University Distance Education
The Sambalpur University was established in 1967. The University covers 10 districts of the state of Orissa namely Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Bargarh, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Nawapara, Kalahandi, Boudh and Athamallik Sub-Division of Angul District.
Sambalpur University Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education was started in 1998.
Sambalpur University Distance Education offers PGDCA, PGDIT,BCA, MCA, MBA , BBA programs in distance education mode.
Sambalpur University Distance Education MBA:-
The Master of Business Administration will be of three years duration.
Eligibility: - Any Graduate
There shall be 20 papers including 7 electives under various specialization.
Course Fees:
1. Each Candidate for M.B.A. course on receipt of his/ her provisional admission intimation from the course coordinator shall deposit Rs. 45000/- as course fee which is payable as follows.
i. Rs. 7500/- to be paid at the time of admission in the first year.
ii. Rs. 7500/- to be paid in the month of 30th April.
iii. Rs. 7500/- to be paid in the month of 31st October.
iv. Rs. 7500/- to be paid in the month of 30th April.
v. Rs. 7500/- to be paid in the month of 31st October.
vi. Rs. 7500/- to be paid in the month of 30th April.
Sambalpur University Distance Education MCA:-
Course Contents:- The course is to be completed in maximum 6 semesters.
Eligibility:- Any Graduate of a recognized University / Institute having mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. Those who have not studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level will be required to successfully complete the mathematics syllabus as per BCA course structure of Sambalpur University concurrently with the 1st/2nd Semester of MCA Course and such candidates are required to pay an additional fee of Rs. 2000/-.
