Description

AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) Pune was established in the year 1948 and it is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as Hostel, Canteen, Laboratories, Hospital and Extra curricular activities. AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) Pune has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college offers undergraduate courses in B Sc Nursing and MBBS.
 

AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) Pune Courses offered

  • B Sc Nursing

    Eligibility: Candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2 level) or equivalent examination of 12 years duration from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English.

    Admission Procedure: Admission is done on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidate in the entrance test followed by an interview.

  • MBBS

    Eligibility: Candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+ 2 level) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60% aggregate marks in three science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects. He/ she must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.

    Admission Procedure: Admission is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance test followed by an interview.
