Description

Academy of Technology Hooghly was established in the year 2003 and it is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College offers postgraduate level programme in Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The college provides good infrastructure facilities such as well stocked Library, Well equipped lab, Extra Curricular Activities. The college has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college provides placements facilities to the students.

  • Bachelor of Technology

    Eligibility: The candidates must pass their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination of W B Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognized board/university, with science subjects. Candidate having a diploma in Engineering/Technology are eligible for lateral entry into the B Tech program.

    Admission Procedure: Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB JEE) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Admission is done through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET), for the 10% seats into the third semester (2nd year) of B Tech program of the institute. 10% of the seats are filled under the management quota as per the directives of the State Government.

    Eligibility: The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, with Computer or Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at degree level.

    Admission Procedure: Admission is done through the Joint Entrance Examination for Computer Application (JECA) conducted by the state government, and 10% students will be admitted under management quota, as per directive of State Government.
