Description

The Institute of Technology is one of the pioneer institute and was established in the year 2000 and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Acharya Institute of Technology offers undergraduate course in seven streams of engineering and postgraduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Application (MCA).  The institute ranked top 5 private engineering college in Karnataka. The institute provides placement in well known companies like Infosys, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Keane. AIT has played host to a number of University Level Seminars and Workshops of which some, like the very recent ISTE 10th Annual Convention and Annual CSI Convention have been National Level in participation. The students of AIT have taken part in a number of technical competitions and have won laurels for their innovations and presentations.

  • Computer Science & Engineering

    Duration: 4 years

    Admission Criteria:Candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or its equivalent. The Institute admits students as per the prevailing rules and regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagaum, Karnataka.
     

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering

    Duration: 4 years

    Admission Criteria: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or its equivalent. The Institute admits students as per the prevailing rules and regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagaum, Karnataka.
     

  • Master of Comouter Applications(MCA)

    Duratio: 2 years

    Admission Criteria:Candidate with any Bachelors Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages, if any. Must have studied Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or equivalent, or at Degree level. Entrance exam held by the university.
     

  • MBA

    Duration: 2 years

    Admission Criteria:Candidate with any Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages. Admission will be made by the Entrance exam held by the university.
     

  • Mechanical Engineering

    Duration: 4 years

    Admission Criteria: Candidate should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths or its equivalent. The Institute admits students as per the prevailing rules and regulations of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagaum, Karnataka.
