Akal College of Education for Women is located in Sangrur, Punjab and it is affiliated to Punjabi University. The college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).     Eligibility: A graduate candidate in any stream from a recognized university is eligible for the admission.

    Admission Procedure: B.Ed State Test is conducted for the admission. The admission is done on the basis of Joint Entrance Test conducted by one of the Universities of Punjab in accordance with guidelines issued by the Government of Punjab. Admission through management quota is applicable. For that a candidate should have gained the minimum 75 marks in the Entrance Test along with 50 percent marks in Graduation/Post-graduation level. Also he should possess the Punjab Domicile Certificate.
