Description
Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology was established in the year 2001 by Mohammad Vaziruddin Educational Society with the approval of the All India Council for Technology Education(AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is affiliated to JNTU, Kakinada.
The college offers two undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering with an annual intake of 90 students and four courses viz., Computer Science and Information Technology, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60. The college have an exquisite collection of books relating to the various disciplines, which includes a large number of national and international journals keep the students abreast with the latest development. This is furthermore enhanced with broadband internet connectivity being offered to the students and faculty members for intellectual enhancement.

Library
The knowledge repository has large collection of books in various disciplines of engineering and management with more than 12, 500 volumes. It has a spacious reading room and reference section. National and International journals and latest research work can be accessed over the INTERNET which is an added facility. A spacious reading room and reference section with extensive reading material newspapers, magazines.
Computer Lab
It has a state- of the-art computer center with a campus wide network-LAN facility. The CSE Department Lab in the College is having 130 terminals and IT Department Lab is having 60 terminals along with the highly configured Servers which supports all transactions like maintaining central Database and to conduct ONLINE exams etc.
