Description

Apeejay Institute of Design was set up in 1992. It is located in Delhi and is housed in its aesthetically designed building ideally suited for creative activities.  The Institute offers a Bachelor in Design course in different areas of specialization, a Bachelor in Multimedia, a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma Course. These Degrees are awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

  • Bachelor in Design

    • Fashion Design
    • Interior Design

    Eligibility : Xllth Pass with 45% marks from CBSE, CSC, Punjab Board or equivalent.

    Duration : 4 year (8 Semesters)

    Working Schedule : 19 weeks - 570 Contact hours per semester

    Mode of Study : Foundation Course (Semester I to II) Specialisation (Semester III to VII)

    Internship Training : 4 Week during summer vacation after III year

    Industrial Training : VIII Semester (6 months)

  • Bachelor in Fine Arts

    Area of Specialisation : Painting, Applied Art

    Eligibility :     Xllth Pass with 45% marks from CBSE, CSC, Punjab Board or equivalent.

    Duration :     4 year

     

  • Bachelor in Multimedia

    Eligibility : Xllth Pass with 45% marks from CBSE, CSC, Punjab Board or equivalent.

    Duration : 4 year (8 Semesters)

    Examination Scheme: Semestar

    Working Schedule : 19 weeks - 570 Contad hours per semester


    Mode of Study : Theory, Practical, Workshops, Studio Classes and Design project. Areas of Study comprises Computer based Multimedia applications for Print and Electronic Media including Photography, Film Shooting, Animation, Copy Writing and Editing.

    Internship Training :     1 Summer Training between Semestar VI and Semestar VII

    Industrial Training cum Placement :     VIII Semester

  • Master in Design

    Areas of Specialization

        * Fashion Design
        * Interior Design
        * Visual Media


    Eligibility:   B. Design, B.FA., B. Arch., B.MM., B.V.A. or any 4-years Degree
    in Art & Design with Ist division


    Duration:     2 years (4 semesters)


    Admission procedure: Interview and Portfolio Presentation

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Design

    Areas of Specialisation :Textile Design, Commercial Art, Interior Decoration, Dress Designing and Tailoring

    Eligibility     : Graduation in any stream
