Arena Animation Academy Specialist Program (AAASP)

This is Complete 3D Animation career program. In this program student will study upgraded versions of software like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Sound Forge, Adobe Premier, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, 3D Max & Maya.

Duration:- 31 months, 5 semesters, 3D animation course.

Classes:- Classes are typically held 3 times a week for about 90 minutes per session.

Eligibility:- Those who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply.

Arena Animation Pro

Duration:- 26 months, 4 semesters, comprehensive animation course with training in pre-production, production & post-production.

Classes:- Classes are typically held 3 times a week for 2 hours per session.

Eligibility:- Those who have completed Class 12/ 10+2 & have a creative bent of mind and passion for films and animation are eligible to apply.

Arena Multimedia Specialist Programme (AMSP)

AMSP is a versatile course covering the basics of multimedia and animation, as also web designing and gaming. Evolved concepts like art direction, scripting, art of animation as well as a good amount of real project experience are also included. In AMSP, there is a good balance between creative courses and teaching the latest software. This creates a harmony between technology and creativity.

AMSP is a 32-month career course spread over five semesters. Only those who have completed class 12 are eligible to apply.


 

Arena’s Graphics & Web Design (GWD)

This course helps students create a ‘Design Portfolio’ & a ‘Web Portfolio’ of their work.

Arena’s Graphics & Web Design is a 12-month course with the first 6 months devoted to Graphics Design & the last 6 months to Web Design. Classes are held 2 hours a day for 3 days a week.

Eligibility:- Completed 10+2/ class 12

The course covers graphics, illustrations, composition & layout for print design, web design, web graphics & animation.

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash & JavaScript are among the software/ tools taught in this course.

B.Sc. (Multimedia & Animation)

Manonmaniam Sundaranar (MS) University launches 3-year B.Sc. Degree in Multimedia & Animation, in association with Arena Animation.

This program will train students in the latest industry-relevant modules using technical education tools.

Duration:- 3 years

Eligibility:-

Those who have completed HSC/ 10+2, DOEAC Level 3 or above, or completed any degree are eligible to apply.

Candidates awaiting their 10+2, Diploma or Degree results may also apply.

 

Diploma in Animation Engineering (DAE)- Animation Film Making

This course will learn students to make Digital sketching with Sketchbook Pro/ Adobe Photoshop, Principles of animation & their application, Photographic techniques, 3D character animation

Duration:- 23 months, 5 semesters. Intensive 2D & 3D animation film making course.

Classes:- Classes are typically held 5 days a week for about 4 hours each day.

Eligibility:- Those who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply.

Game Art & Design course

This is 4-module program designed to help students make a career in gaming. The total duration of the program is 15 months - or 576 hours

Eligibility:-

• HSC/ Class 12 in any discipline.
• Passion for gaming & having an art background is an added advantage.

Course covers:-

Visual storytelling, modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation, game audio & level design.

Short-term courses

Arena offers short-term courses to both, professionals and students in one or more animation tools or softwares.
Learn how to illustrate or to publish, work in 2D animation or games development, pick up the basics as well as advanced concepts of 3D animation through Maya, or get trained in other applications such as digital architecture and interior designing through the use of AutoCAD and 3D Max.
Each short-term course covers one or more animation/ multimedia tools and course durations range from 16 hours to 160 hours, depending on what you choose to learn.
Some of the courses offered include those in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Coreldraw, Adobe Premier, Dreamweaver, ToonBoom Studio, Maya, AutoCAD, and so on.
