Description

ASTRAL Institute of Technology and Research is a non-profit organization devoted to education, training, research and consultancy in the areas of Technology, Management, Governance, and Development. The Institute has associated itself with those areas of technology and other disciplines, which have a bearing on Management/ Governance / Development.

ASTRAL Institute of Technology and Research is approved by ALL INDIA COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (www.aicte.ernet.in), New Delhi a Government of India Body, DEPARTMENT OF TCHNICAL EDUCATION (www.mptechedu.org), Government of Madhya Pradesh and Affiliated RAJIV GANDHI PROUDYOGIKI VISHWAVIDYALAYA BHOPAL.   • B.E (Computer Science Engineering)

    Computer Science would cover all the software and related hardware part of computing, mainly Computer Networks, Artificial intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Bases, Numerical Analysis, Computer Architecture, Multimedia, Graphics and other growing areas in computer science according to the Rajeev Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishavidyalaya, Bhopal and AICTE.

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:-     Pass 10 + 2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

    Admission Criteria:-     The students are admitted to various colleges of Engineering and Management through common entrance test conducted by Madhya Pradesh government body called Vyavsaik Pravesh Pareeksha Mandal -VPP Mandal, Bhopal. The exams conducted are MPPET and MPCET for management subject. A percentage of students are also admitted on all India basis set by Government as All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development in compliance with the directives of the Government of India for engineering colleges.

    AIEEE Quota:- 20% of the total intake is to be filled through AIEEE counseling conducted at various State capitals / centers spread across the Nation.

    MPPET Quota:- Vypam, Bhopal conducts Pre Engineering Test for admission to engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Counseling is organized at five centres in Madhya Pradesh for 65% of seats in various colleges.

    Duration:- 4 years

    As information technology is application software usage oriented, students are given exercises to have hand on experience. The basic software training would be on latest computer systems. Communication system is an important part of the curriculum.

    Duration:-     4 years

  • B.E (Mechanical Engineering)

    Mechanical engineering is the second largest engineering discipline and one of the oldest. Mechanical engineers apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices. Mechanical engineers are involved with the design of structures, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.

    Duration:- 4 years

    The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year full-time Four Semester programme aimed at training graduates into capable managers. The purpose of the Programme is to provide value addition through Management inputs to graduates and thereby contribute towards the societal needs and concern for managerial talents. The focus of the Programme is on emerging areas such as Information Technology Management and International Business apart from the various functional areas of Management.

     

  • MCA

    Master of computer applications (MCA) is one of the most sought after courses in India. It is an extremely balanced course with a lot of emphasis on planning, designing & developing of complex commercial application software & system software. In this course equal importance is given to functional knowledge in various areas as well.

    MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is a three years Master's degree program. The course is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of computer science, with emphasis on applications. The 6th Semester is dedicated to the project work, to be done in the industry.
