Avanthis Scientific Technological and Research Academy was established in 2008 and it is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institution in located in a serene atmosphere over an area of 30 acars which is very near to Vijayawada National Highway. The institution has been built up in an area of 20,000 sq m and provides well equipped laboratories, Modern computer lab, Spacious and furnished class rooms, Seminal Hall, Work Shop, Drawing Hall, state-of-the-art computer center with a campus-wide network-LAN facility, Transport facility. A team of dynamic, dedicated, experienced and well qualified teaching faculty of the cadre of Professors, Assistant Professors & Senior Faculty with research experience are chosen to promote education at the institutions. Also the college provide personal and career related support to the students with special emphasis on training the students on employability skills and ultimately provide placement in various Industries / Organizations by arranging campus recruitment drives. For the need of students a range of high quality student support services which contributes to enhance the student’s skills in relation to learning, personality development & employability. The college offers undergraduate course in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (MEC), Civil Engineering (CE) streams and post graduate course in Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

The Training and placement cell of the college is composed of a placement officer and is assisted by placement coordinators and faculty as well as student coordinators from various departments.
