Master of Arts in Development

The Master of Arts in Development (M.A. Development) is designed as a ‘development action’ course with an emphasis on leveraging the body of knowledge around theories in development and alternative action strategies for development outcomes.

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility:- Bachelors degree in any subject or equivalent.

Master of Arts in Education

The Master of Arts in Education (M.A. Education) is a liberal post-graduate programme which aims to develop education professionals in areas other than teaching and teacher education.The programme is intended to help interested individuals develop into reflective education professionals, with a wide range of capabilities and a conscious alignment towards humanitarian and social concerns.

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility:- Bachelors degree in any subject or equivalent.

Masters in Teacher Education

The programme is grounded on the premise that integration of theory, practice and research can make a significant impact on teacher education and thereby on school education.

After completion of the M.T.E. programme, teacher educators will be well equipped to conceptualize, develop and deliver powerfully transformative programme for the continuous professional development of teachers. Given the overall vision of Azim Premji Foundation, M.T.E. graduates will be encouraged to work with institutions that focus on public education.

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility:-

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (with minimum 55% marks, as per NCTE norms)
• A professional teaching certification with minimum 55% marks, as per NCTE norms (B.Ed., D.Ed., B. EL. Ed, M.A. Ed. or equivalent)
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at School or Pre- University levels.
