B D Somani Institute of Art and Fashion Technology was established in 1996 by the Renonved Educationists who run the G. D. Somani Memorial School, the B. D. Somani institute of Art and Fashion Technology is an endeavor to encourage creativity and offer young budding designers and artists the much required guidance and professional training towards career orientation in the ever evolving world of fashion, Art and Digital Communications.

The various designing course at the institute focus on enhancing student skill, and knowledge concerning design principles, methodology, concepts and project management The course are evolved with through insight and understanding of market and consumer behavior, materials and production process. Tends and forecast interpretations, business practices and finally the strategic application of design in a largest business context from the macro perspective.The Institute under its umbrella offers various programmes in Fashion Technology, Commercial Arts & Digital Communications.

     The Digital Animation program focuses on the process of animation from the conception and generation of ideas, to the creation of complete animated projects.
     
    It covers the principles of classical animation, layout and design, visual communication, story telling, story boarding and character animation.
     
    The programme centres on bringing together technology and creativity through working with digital 2d and 3D softwares.

  • Diploma in Digital Print Designing

     The Digital Print Designing module provides students with the skills to develop digital design and produce printed materials.
     
    Students learn to prepare digital pre-press 4-color files, plan and produce client's print projects, proofing strategies for the design and layout of printed media and efficient work techniques.
     
    DURATION : (4 Months)

  • Diploma in Photography

    This course will enable students to produce technically and aesthetically competent digital photographs with the widest range of applications in mind - from collage to retouching to virtual panoramas.
     
    The course provides an unprecedented opportunity to learn about state of the art digital cameras, lenses, digital imaging software, digital lighting and delivery of digital media for print, screen media, and interactivity.
