Description

B. P. Marine Academy was established in 1997. It is ISO 9001:2000 academy. B. P. Marine Academy is located at Navi Mumbai.

It offer B.Sc Nautical Science , Marine Engineers, Navigators and Crew courses.

B.P. Marine Academy Courses offered

  • B.Sc Nautical Science Degree (Mumbai University)

    Duration:- 1 Year

    Eligibility:-

    a) Pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 55%

    OR
    (b) B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the year, with an average of not less than 55% of marks in the final year.

    OR
    (c) B.E. / B. Tech. Degree from I.I.T. or from a college recognized by AICTE.
    The candidates should have obtained 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th Std or in the Degree course conducted by recognized Board or any University.

     

  • Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (Saloon Rating)

    Duration:-6 Months

    Eligibility:-Pass in 10 + 2 from recognized Board with 40% marks in 12th standard & at least 40% marks in English either at 10th or 12th standard.

    Age Limit:-  171/2 to 25 yrs

  • Electro Technical Officer (Company Requirement)

    Duration:- 6 Months

    Eligibility:- B.E/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication.

    Age:- Preferably upto 25 Years



     

  • HND in Business in association with STC (UK)

    Duration:- 2 Years

    Eligibility:- A pass in Plus Two (12thStandard) from recognized Board or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% in Maths in Class XII and at least 50% in English the time of the (equivalent to IELTS 5.0 minimum).

    Age:- Min 17 at the time of entry



     

  • HND in Computing in association with STC (UK)

    Duration:- 2 Years

    Eligibility:-A pass in Plus Two (12thStandard) from recognized Board or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% in Maths in Class XII and at least 50% in English the time of the (equivalent to IELTS 5.0 minimum).

  • HND in Marine Engineering in association with STC / GCNS (UK)

    Duration:- 2 Years

    Age:-     Preferably 17 to 22 years



     

  • HND in Nautical Science in association with STC / GCNS (UK)

    Duration:- 2 Years

    Eligibility:-Pass in 12th Standard from recognized Board or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry & Maths group in Class XII, and at least 50% in English (equivalent to IELTS 5.0 minimum)

    Age:- Preferably 17 to 22 years



     

  • Pre Sea Training - GP Ratings (Deck and Engine)

    Duration:- 6 Months

    Eligibility:-Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematic as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in English language at 10th or 12th standard.

    Age:- 17½ to 25 years

  • Sir, B.sc Nautical Science Degree(1 year)course INR 180,000 The B.Sc (Nautical Science) degree will be awarded by the University on the successful completion of 1 year duration. After 1 years,can the cadets will be joining as the Trainee Cadet Officer on board the ship. They will have to obtain 12 months sea experience. On completion of 12 months sea experience, will they be promoted directly as SECOND OFFICER without any further examinations.
