Description

Ballari Institute of Technology and Management (BITM) was established in 1997. The Institution is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. BITM has got an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate.

BITM offers B.E degree program in Computer Science & Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical Engg., Information Science Engineering., Biotechnology., Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The college is designed to provide the best in terms of technical and management education, with the best of infrastructure and competent academic delivery. The college is located on a sprawling campus of 11.00 acres of greenery with an eco-friendly ambience for serious learning in an academic environment, with the top notch facilities that combine aesthetics with modernity, good hostel facility for both boys and girls and play ground facility.

  • B.E (Biotechnology)

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- 

    • Pass 10 + 2 in Science with minimum of 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory and any of the following subjects; Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science
    • Three Year Diploma holders in appropriate branch of Engineering, awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, or any other Diploma qualification considered thereto by the University, who have secured not less than 50% of aggregate marks in the final examination of the Diploma Course.


    Admission Criteria:- Admission through CET score merit list conducted by Karnatka State Government

    Intake:- 60 Seats

  • B.E (Computer Sciecne & Engineering)

    Computer Science is considered the nucleus of technical education.

    Duration:- 4 years

    Eligibility:- 

    • Pass 10 + 2 in Science with minimum of 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory and any of the following subjects; Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science
    • Three Year Diploma holders in appropriate branch of Engineering, awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, or any other Diploma qualification considered thereto by the University, who have secured not less than 50% of aggregate marks in the final examination of the Diploma Course.
