Description

Bengal College Of Engineering And Technology was set up by the SKS Educational and Social Trust in 2001. It has vast infrastructure includes latest teaching-learning system, well equipped labs, separate facilitated hostels for boys and girls. It has a Central Library with Air-Condition and fully automatic. It is well stocked and has excellent collection of books, journals and non book material in Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management. At present the Central Library has a collection of over 40000 volumes of books  with 4230 titles of different subjects. The college also has well equipped computer labs, Laboratories with modern facilities, canteen, workshop, auditorium, playground, conference hall, PNB bank. The institute has highly qualified and well experienced faculties.

    Admissions in 2nd Year- JELET Qualified candidates who have valid allotment order of Central Selection Committee are admitted in 2nd Year of B.Tech programme.

    Eligibility Criteria: Both JEM and AIEEE merit listed candidates shall have to adhere to the cut-off marks in qualifying examination (10+2) i.e., at least 45% (40% for Reserved Category candidates) marks in aggregates with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for Engineering, being compulsory subjects with pass marks in each of those individual subjects (as per AICTE Norms) and pass marks (30%) in English.

  • M. Tech in Computer Science

    Eligibility Criteria :
    • 1st Class in B.Tech in CSE / IT or Master’s degree Computer Applications (MCA)/ Computer Sc./ Mathematics with Computer Sc. Specialization.

  • M. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering

    Eligibility Criteria :
    • 1st Class in B.E/B.Tech in ECE / AEIE /Instrumentation or M.Sc in Electronics / Physics (specialization in electronics) or equivalent.

  • Master of Business Administration

    Amission: Admissions are made through MAT/ WB-JEMAT (conducted by the West Bengal Board of Examination) qualifiers. The candidate has to present himself/herself at the college after qualifying the examination. Selections are made through GD/PI and on the basis of academic performance plus score obtained at MAT/WB-JEMAT examination. Final year candidates who have appeared for the above examination and awaiting their graduation results can also apply. However, such candidates have to produce their mark sheets and relevant documents before their admission to the institute.

     

     

    Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) with 50% marks.
    The candidate must present himself / herself for admission at the Institute, within 3 days of counseling/allotment (in case of WB-JEMAT) or else allotment of the candidate will stand null and void. 

  • Master of Computer Application

    Admission: Admissions are made through an Entrance Examination (JECA) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board and on the basis of allotment made by Central Selection Committee (E&T). There is a provision of up to 10% seats to be filled up through Management Quota.

    Eligibility Criteria:  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under (10+2+3) system with Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level
