Description

The Calicut Medical College was established in 1957 as the 2nd medical college in Kerala. Since  then the institution has grown into a premier center of medical education in the state. The vast and sprawling Medical College complex is spread over an extensive area of 270 acres located in picturesque surroundings about 10km from the heart of Calicut. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and serves 2/5 of the population of Kerala.

It offers MBBS, MD, MS, Nursing courses.

Infrastructure

 

• The institute has a huge and centralized library with all books and journals required at the medical college. Inside this library there is a Learning Resource Centre which covers an area of 110 Sq. ft.

• This library has an internet connection of 2 Mbps that enables direct internet access, it also has access to Science Direct & Proquest database.

• Secondary items like printer, scanner, photocopier, CD-Writer, etc are offered to take copies of the study material.
